If you are into Southern Rock, “Sundown” is the band to see. I had a chance to check them out last night at Barney McNabb’s in Yonkers on Tuckahoe Road and they were a really good band. The band opened with Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Saturday Night Special” and you knew from there it was going to be a good musical night. Fred, the bass player was a loose willy (with some of the chics in the joint) and was a character. The patrons were mixed with, of course, biker guys (with chains hanging from almost every seam on their pants) and wanna-be biker girls, who definitely had a certain “edge” to them. Of course there were your neighborhood patrons and usual man/boy hotties. One imparticular. Hmmmmm.
Danced the night away and overall a fun night. I am not too up on the bar itself but the band I would definitely recommend (if you’re into Southern Rock).
